Sometimes, it is useful to able to undo multiple revisions. I don't believe this should be particularly more difficult for the software than undoing a single revision. Example: # (cur) (last) 18:31, July 13, 2008 Good editor (Talk | contribs) (48,175 bytes) (→Section 1) (rollback | undo) # (cur) (last) 18:25, July 13, 2008 Vandal (Talk | contribs) (48,172 bytes) (→Section 3) (undo) # (cur) (last) 18:05, July 13, 2008 Vandal (Talk | contribs) (48,084 bytes) (→Section 3) (undo) # (cur) (last) 17:41, July 13, 2008 Vandal (Talk | contribs) (46,807 bytes) (→Section ) (undo) # (cur) (last) 17:39, July 13, 2008 Last Good Editor Before Vandal (Talk | contribs) (46,807 bytes) (undo) At this point, one must go back in, undo the vandal, and reinsert the good editions by Good editor by hand. If one could possibly click the diff on multiple versions via the "compare selected versions" button, and an undo were then possible, this would alleviate things greatly. Thanks.
I think this feature already exists: when you compare multiple diffs http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia%3ASandbox&diff=225550041&oldid=225547474 here with one intermediate you have a link "undo" in the right header Revision as of 09:23, 14 July 2008 (edit) (undo) and this link leads to the confirmation page http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Sandbox&action=edit&undoafter=225547474&undo=225550041 Here it isn't possible to undo these revisions, since the content of the page change too much (event for a single revision). Is it what you want ?
Yes, it does work. I could have sworn that it didn't. Please accept my apologies.
