Description Melancholie 2008-08-11 15:32:45 UTC
The template http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Template:Popular_articles is current.

Although the stable=1 version should be the same, it's different (much older), see http://en.wikinews.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Popular_articles&stable=1

The worst thing is http://en.wikinews.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Popular_articles&stable=0&redirect=no where a faulty revision of the template got stuck!
Comment 1 Melancholie 2008-08-11 15:35:10 UTC
BTW: When clicking on the "draft" tab, &redirect=no is added to the URL! Intended?
Comment 2 Melancholie 2008-08-11 15:36:58 UTC
Further note: Purging of &stable=1/0 only help temporarily (for that session). Stucked versions do show up the next time again, if browser cache got cleared.
Comment 3 Melancholie 2008-08-11 15:43:14 UTC
And a question: Is it intended that on enwikinews the draft versions of templates are included in pages (at least non-articles)?

They look the same to me
Comment 5 Aaron Schulz 2008-08-11 16:09:03 UTC
&redirect=no is supposed to be there

Yes, strange (did verified with NetRenderer first). Found out that my current Firefox version seems to not properly clear cache on some pages (those old revisions seem to got stuck in my FF, somehow). Clearing cache didn't work, Ctrl+R didn't work; the only thing that did work now was javascript:location.reload(true)

Sorry for that!
