Compare http://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=search&srsearch=Bokurano&srwhat=text&srlimit=100&srredirects= and http://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=search&srsearch=Bokurano&srwhat=text&srlimit=100 Both queries return the same list of pages. (I got the search string by using [[Special:RandomRedirect]] to find a word that does appear in at least one redirect page.) It's not clear to me, at least, why the srredirects= option is considered useful anyway, since normally redirect pages are not expected to contain any text other than a link to their target page.
The parameter may not be getting passed back to MWSearch properly, or it may not be applicable there.
Listing/unlisting redirects is not applicable for MWSearch, and is probably just ignored. (when a redirect to a certain title matches it will be highlighted on a search page in parenthesis after the title)
(In reply to comment #2) > Listing/unlisting redirects is not applicable for MWSearch, and is probably > just ignored. (when a redirect to a certain title matches it will be > highlighted on a search page in parenthesis after the title) > Marking as INVALID, based on this comment and the assumption that it means that MWSearch doesn't return redirect pages. Other search engines may still return redirects, of course.
