On Wikimedia Commons, I have selected "Add pages I delete to my watchlist" in my preferences, however when I delete an image, it is not added to my watchlist. 

I don't whether that's a bug or feature, but it is a surprising behaviour as image pages otherwise behave the same way (being added to watchlist upon creation / edit if this is selected in the preferences).
