The links that filter the number of history entries shown (20, 50, 100, etc.) are formatted with the stub link style when its corresponding article meets the stub link formatting threshold as specified in Special:Preferences.

Confirmed. But unlike for bug 17186 (>0), the threshold for stub link formatting has to be set to article-size+1 to see this effect (in this case >133 bytes).
