It appears only when MediaWiki is Turkish. instead of the button "Discussion" ("Tartışma") it says {{#ifeq:Tartışma|Kullanıcı mesaj|mesaj|tartışma}} in red. I have checked localized files but there were no problem, at least to me. What is the problem? What do you think? Can it be because of the server. There occurred similar problems in the past in the same server, sometimes MediaWiki (a non-turkish one) worked well and sometimes there were some interesting things; such as not to show content properly, it looked like vandalized (but of course there were no edits) and some hours late it disappeared... Now, I'll show you some wikis with the same problem. http://wiki.ceviz.net/index.php/ http://wiki.lapis-linux.org/index.php/ http://wiki.e-webos.com/wiki/tr/ http://politikekonomi.net/ http://unutmadik.com/ http://www.nanoturkiye.net/wiki/ . . . http://bb.mozillazine-tr.org/ (my, Turkish wiki) http://krumovgrad.eu/wiki/ (my, on the same server, in a neigberhood directory, Bulgarian wiki, no problem) Both are v 1.14.0
Reason is invalid translation. Marked for need for an update in translatewiki.net. Will be fixed in svn and in future MediaWiki releases.
MessagesTr.php: 'talk' => '{{#ifeq:{{TALKSPACE}}|Kullanıcı mesaj|mesaj|tartışma}}', This is using #ifeq from ParserFunctions extension, so will fail on a base installation. Probably worth a quick check to see if other files are similarly affected. Fix will need backporting to 1.14 branch.
No other {{# parser functions found with grep in trunk.
Updated priority and severity to normal. Core functionality is not disturbed.
Fixed in trunk in r48626. Fixed in 1.14 branch in r48874
