I dont how to put it in simple terms, but here is what happened. As usual i was reading a wiki article, on Video Graphics Array (VGA) connector. I wanted to see what is the difference between VGA and DVI. But when i entered DVI in search box it led to a Disambiguation page instead of going to the DVI connector. Is it ok to handle this as a internal link in wiki article would be handled. i.e., go to directly the DVI connector page instead of disambiguation page. Just a thought. You are doing a great job. Thanks, Badam
The link should obviously be fixed. The new search could be used to guess the intended one, but I'm not sure if it worth it.
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=DVI&redirect=no redirects to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface nowadays. Was this meant as a proposal to gather items listed on a disambiguation page and display them as proposals in the dropdown after entering a search term (which would lead to a disambiguation page) in the Search field in the upper corner? Not entirely clear to me; might need additional API.
