The abuse filter, in its current state, indefs blocks IP Addresses when the block action is enabled. Can this be changed so that the filter not only differentiates between accounts and IP's but so you can set the block durration?

This is more than just an enhancement because whilst wikipedia doesnt use the block function (yet) other wikis do and are forced to remove indef blocks made by the user. Were all aware that you should NEVER block an IP. This is indeed more than just an "enhancement"
