Description Ruslan 2009-08-20 12:01:00 UTC
I recently noticed that I can not open a number of pages on Russian wikinews. For instance,

http://ru.wikinews.org/wiki/%D0%92%D0%B8%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%BD%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%BE%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B8:2008/%D0%BE%D0%BA%D1%82%D1%8F%D0%B1%D1%80%D1%8C

All pages with names like Викиновости:year/month (in russian), which are archives, can not be opened. Any attempt to open them produces an empty page without any error messages in Firefox, while IE shows "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error". Their master template

http://ru.wikinews.org/wiki/%D0%A8%D0%B0%D0%B1%D0%BB%D0%BE%D0%BD:%D0%90%D1%80%D1%85%D0%B8%D0%B2_%D0%BC%D0%B5%D1%81%D1%8F%D1%86%D0%B0

is also impossible to open. The full list of problem pages is here:

Thank you.

Looks like an additional linefeed in http://ru.wikinews.org/wiki/%D0%A8%D0%B0%D0%B1%D0%BB%D0%BE%D0%BD:%D0%A0%D0%BE%D0%B4_%D0%BC%D0%B5%D1%81%D1%8F%D1%86%D0%B0 inadvertantly added on August 14 (with the category) was breaking header parsing. Removing the linefeed seems to have fixed it? http://ru.wikinews.org/w/index.php?title=%D0%A8%D0%B0%D0%B1%D0%BB%D0%BE%D0%BD:%D0%A0%D0%BE%D0%B4_%D0%BC%D0%B5%D1%81%D1%8F%D1%86%D0%B0&diff=24832&oldid=24491

Thank you. This appears to have solved the problem. As I understand now, any empty line in a template used in a (category) parameter of DynamicPageList breaks the DynamicPageList.
