You have "$sfgUseFormEditPage" set to true, probably in LocalSettings.php. This is an unsupported, undocumented feature at the moment - I should remove it altogether, but for now you should just remove that setting.

Was using that feature helpful to you in some way? I wasn't aware that it was doing anything different.

Well, the Formedit was a bit more like the normale editpage with the informations under the freeedit. Even when it was not fully working. Because the submit buttons and so where doubled.

It was a bit like what I requested in #18340
