Hello, I recently proposed the implementation of AbuseFilter and Captcha extensions on Turkish Wikipedia, and got the full (100%) support of the community. Here is the link to the discussion: http://tr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vikipedi:K%C3%B6y_%C3%A7e%C5%9Fmesi/2009/Aral%C4%B1k#Son_geli.C5.9Fmeler.2C_yeni_.C3.B6neriler In this discussion I talked about the extensions in general, and provided examples of effects on other wikis (Captcha on pt.wiki and AbuseFilter on en.wiki). Here is a rough translation of the page with Google Translate (see "Recent developments, new proposals", but don't count on the tool to understand it as the translation is quite terrible): http://translate.google.com/translate?js=y&prev=_t&hl=tr&ie=UTF-8&layout=1&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Ftr.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FVikipedi%3AK%25C3%25B6y_%25C3%25A7e%25C5%259Fmesi%2F2009%2FAral%25C4%25B1k%23Son_geli.C5.9Fmeler.2C_yeni_.C3.B6neriler&sl=tr&tl=en Captcha insertion will be required for anonymous and newly registered users (in another words, autoconfirmed users will be exempt), and AbuseFilter will be installed with its standard settings. I hereby request the installation of these two extensions, and thank you in advance on behalf of the Turkish Wikipedia community. Cheers Vito Genovese

Thank you Roan. They both seem to be running perfectly. Cheers Vito Genovese
