Halló! somehow (common look and feel) related to bug 2329: Some special pages show underscores in article titles Thanks for making the changes in the body of the page in article titles etc. Regards Reinhardt
No bug...?
Hi Brion! The bug was the URL from above. Please see http://test.leuksman.com/index.php/Sections_and_underscores The sections contain underscores. I think they should not. Regards Reinhardt
There's no bug visible at that page. The section header text is wikitext and does not contain an explicit underscore <-> space normalization rule. *Anchor name keys* are *derived* from the text of the headers, and perform a number of conversions and normalizations.
Thanks! Marked as "closed"
REOPENing this bug At the new url == foo_bar == looks as 'foo_bar'in TOC and renders there to http://test.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Gangleri/tests/bugzilla/section_links/002#foo_bar However == foo bar == looks as 'foo bar'in TOC and renders there to http://test.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Gangleri/tests/bugzilla/section_links/002#foo_bar_2 In my opinion this is inconsistent! As in titles spaces and underscores should be handeled the same way both in TOC and generated anchor links. Changing summary for better understanding. best regards reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]
Heading text is text. Heading anchors are anchors, which currently are automatically derived from the text.
