The check box to enable typing in Gujarati language is missing in beta, which makes it impossible to test it further, and also without it, it won't be possible to switch to the new look.
Note, the transliteration script is a local script located at http://gu.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Translit.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript&dontcountme=s This is probably something that should be taken up with whomever maintains that script ( [[gu:user:Dsvyas]] ).
Per comment #1 , this is local script breakage, so it doesn't technically belong here. However, it's so severe I feel I need to fix this, so I'll be looking into this tomorrow.
