Description thorsten.lach 2011-03-20 10:28:38 UTC
I installed the mediawiki package via emerge on my gentoo system. I did everything by the book. But as i wanted to open my wikipeia i've got the error message displayed in the summary.

Maybe anyone could help.

Thanks

tholac

See comments in http://fi2.php.net/manual/en/spl.installation.php

Also, we don't really support stuff installed by customised distro package managers

I hope Gentoo doesn't do anything fancy. Not sure though.

That's neither here nor there. Installation requirements for MW clearly indicate you need SPL.
