The page "Organizations in A Song of Ice and Fire" on enwiki was deleted after an AFD some 7 months ago. (see "Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Organizations in A Song of Ice and Fire") However, no log entry of this deletion appears to exist. I checked with the deleting admin and an oversighter, who confirmed that the page was indeed deleted, the deleted revision are still visible and oversight was not used.
Looks like this happened in September/October 2010: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Organizations_in_A_Song_of_Ice_and_Fire Probably a failure to save the log entry at the time; race condition bugs and such probably remain but can't be tracked down specifically related to this page deletion instance.
It did happen in October. I deleted the page, redirects to it and the page's talk page, all of which are showing in the deletion log with the exception of this one page: (see http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log&offset=20101003170109&type=delete&user=Phantomsteve&month=10&year=2010 for my deletions from 3 October) The following were all deleted: * Talk:Organizations in A Song of Ice and Fire * The Unsullied * Unsullied * The Second Sons * Night’s Watch * The Brave Companions * Brotherhood Without Banners * Maesters of the Citadel * Vargo Hoat * Wildlings * Faceless Men * Pycelle * Luwin * Wildling * The bearded priests of Norvos * Maester Luwin * Yoren * Maesters * The Faith Militant * Greenseers * Grand Maester Pycelle * The Golden Company * The Sorrowful Men * The Citadel (A Song of Ice and Fire) * Others(ASOIAF) * Night´s Watch They were all deleted within a minute or so of each other, and so was the main page. I'd guess it's a blip, but if someone could give a definitive answer, that'd be good!
Happened again today with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Undelete/CMiC
Still seems very intermittent.
