mashup of screenshots showing error encountered when trying to edit cities section in article "Ecuador"

When I login as "charliearcuri" and click one of the two edit links in the section "Largest cities of Ecuador" of the article "Ecuador", I get a blank edit control and some wording that talks about a template having been deleted. I expected to see some text that would allow me to fix the caption of the image currently captioned "Portoviejo".

This problem occurs with Firefox v3.6.17 in addition to IE 9.0.8112.16421

This is not actually a mediawiki bug.

Someone on Wikipedia manually made the edit link by hand, and its pointing to the wrong place. I tried to fix in this edit http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ecuador&action=historysubmit&diff=431225394&oldid=431192791

I also left a note on the talk page of that article.
