"en" is not very specific, don't forget non-Wikipedia projects and the somewhat history of past mailing list names: https://lists.wikimedia.org/ Perhaps some of the following are more clear ? * spiclerk-l (as a general list) * spiclerk-enwiki-l (like the Accounts list) * WikiEN-spiclerk-l (like the main list)
It would probably be either "spiclerk-enwiki" or "wikipedia-en-spiclerk". I would prefer for the former, although the latter fits in more with the spirit of the guidelines. Philippe is looking into the privacy aspect of these things though, so this won't get done until after that. (I'm not ignoring the bug if that's what you guys were thinking. ;-))
Make mailing list requests (new ML or rename) consistent: based on bug 30105 it looks like caseybrown wants these, add wikibugs to CC
