I request request a refresh of the article count for pdc-wiki. I found moust of categories counts a wrong content number. See http://pdc.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kategorie:!Hauptkategorie and its subcats Thanks.
If you meant the number in the brackets, they represent the number of sub-categories in that category. Most likely this is a desired event.
Yes this is what I meant. Most of these numbers are wrong.
Umm, the one you linked to are correct (?). Can you give a specific example of a number that is wrong, and what you expect the number to be. Some times category counts do get out of sync, but categories with less than 200 entries are automatically re-synced on pretty much every view.
Oh sorry I was wrong. These numbers on http://pdc.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kategorie:!Hauptkategorie displays subcats only. But is there a way to display the number of the contained articles too like in http://pdc.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kategorie:!Hauptkategorie or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Contents ?
Yes, its controlled by [[MediaWiki:categorytree-member-num]] (Personally I'm a fan of what commons sets it to. I don't really like the default that much.) See http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:CategoryTree#categorytree-member-num for docs. Closing bug as invalid.
