Description Fariz 2011-06-15 12:03:23 UTC
So, if I export a Category page (for instance, Category:Person), it will definitely be in OWL Full. The reason is SMW uses OWL Object & Datatype properties to describe an OWL class (such as swivt:page, and swivt:wikiNamespace). I don't think it's an urgent requirement tho. But, it will be nice if I could export my SMW data into OWL DL ontology. Thanks!

Using properties to describe classes is allowed in the current version of OWL DL (of 2009; the old version of OWL has been superseded). See http://www.w3.org/TR/owl2-new-features/#F12:_Punning for some explanation of this new feature. Most current OWL tools should support this properly.
