I am running a server with:

PHP 5.2.17
MediaWiki 1.16.5
Maps 0.7.6.1 + patch r90151
Semantic MediaWiki 1.5.6
Semantic Maps 0.7.6.1

Geographic coordinates written with ′ and ″ symbols are not parsed correctly. For example:

* Coordinates: {{#coordinates: 50° 10' 30", 50° 10' 30"}}
* Coordinates: {{#coordinates: 50° 10′ 30″, 50° 10′ 30″}}

Displayed as:

* Coordinates: 50° 10' 30" С, 50° 10' 30" В
* Coordinates: 50° 9' 60" С, 50° 9' 60" В

Confirmed. Will have a look at this soonish.
