Some people want to be able to configure the number of categories which are used to rate a wikipage[1] and others mentioned that the default four categories (Trustworthy, Objective, Complete, Well-written) are not very well chosen.[2] Currently, those four categories are hardcoded in the extension's code[3], so I'm opening this bug to request a good way to configure the categories which will be available in a specific wiki. If I understood correctly, the [[mw:Extension:ReaderFeedback]] has such a feature, and maybe it can be used as basis. ---- [1] https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/mediawiki/w/index.php?diff=411549&oldid=377805 [2] [[mw:Thread:Talk:Article feedback/confusing: do you need to fill in all the vote categories?/reply]] [3] E.g.: http://svn.wikimedia.org/viewvc/mediawiki/branches/REL1_17/extensions/ArticleFeedback/sql/ArticleFeedback.sql?view=markup#l9 http://svn.wikimedia.org/viewvc/mediawiki/branches/REL1_17/extensions/ArticleFeedback/modules/ext.articleFeedback-alpha/ext.articleFeedback-alpha.js?view=markup#l16
This is configurable just fine using $wgArticleFeedbackRatings and corresponding entries in the article_feedback_ratings table.

Roan, would you mind providing a more detailed explanation in this new section on the extension's talk page? [[mw:Extension_talk:ArticleFeedback#how_do_you_rename_the_values.3F]]
