Created attachment 8704 [details] New logo to be put on KK-WP We need to change logo of Kazakh WP on the main page. Thing is that since beginning of XX century Kazakh alphabet has changed three times - Arabic, Latin and Cyrillic. Currently we use Cyrillic, but we are discussing probability of switching to Latin script again. Now there are big discussion about spelling of the name of KK WP. The person who launched KK WP for first time was Kazakh from China, and he named it "Укипедиа" which phonetically close to "Ukipidiya" and grammatically out of the common rules. Many people here advocate for changing it according to the rules of official Kazakh orthography. In order to present authoritative opinion we addressed this question to linguists from Institute of Kazakh Language. They explained that we should change spelling of the name to "Википедиа" which would be more accurate from grammatical point of view and phonetically will be closer to "Wikipedia". So, having discussed this issue in community we have decided to change spelling where we are actually writing the name of KKWP. But in the logo of KKWP we would like to keep spelling in English. So we are going make that change on the first page of KK WP. But it looks like that our admin has no access to the part where we can change the logo. Could you please help us to replace current logo to another one with new spelling. Please find attached our new logo. Thank you in advance, Rauan
