Description Umherirrender 2011-06-25 12:56:08 UTC
It is nice to get a placeholder for the inputbox in the same way, as the search field of the vector skin.

Maybe the placeholder for the inputbox should work for all skins.

Thanks.

I don't understand. Do you mean in the sidebar? Could you please clarify the feature request?

Do you mean the text that appears in the box but disappears once you start typing stuff?

Yes. But not in the sidebar, but in the inputbox from the Extension:InputBox inside the WikiText.

ok, I understand now. I had a bit of a d'oh moment earleir ;)

Originally I thought you meant you can specify __SEARCH__ in [[mediawiki:sidebar]] to specify where the search box goes on MonoBook, but looking back it now seems obvious thats not what you meant :)
