Description simon.tuemmler 2011-07-03 15:47:45 UTC
When you click an image in the German Wikipedia Mobile (de.m.wikipedia.org) the link doesn't link to this image. An error site is displayed, which says "Kein Artikel gefunden" [No article found] and the search box says "Datei:xxx" [File:xxx]. The URL to which is linked to is something like "http://de.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Datei:<Filename here>".
If i change it to "http://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datei:<Filename here>", it works. The problem occurs in Firefox for Linux under Linux Mint and on my iPod Touch with iOS 4.2.1 but NOT in the English Wikipedia Mobile.

This doesn't appear to be an issue with the new mobile frontend extension. Also, we aren't doing any continued development on the existing Ruby based mobile gateway. The new mobile frontend should be available publicly in the next few weeks.

If you click on an image from http://nomad.tesla.usability.wikimedia.org/index.php/South_Africa?useFormat=mobile it appears to work as expected.
