Description Brion Vibber 2011-07-21 18:58:08 UTC
Of browsers recognized by current TestSwarm, most relevant ones would be:

* Android 2.3
* Mobile Safari 4.2
* Opera Mobile 10

For the most part these should work similarly to their desktop equivalents, but it'll be nice to have the tests actually run on them to be sure.

Adding bug 29550 as a dependency; apparently the toolserver version is too hacked-up to update easily so all changes are waiting on a new installation.

I think I have added the mobile target to the new testswarm installation:

Comment 3 Krinkle 2012-01-03 22:05:50 UTC
This was done and then reverted
- it was cluttering the TestSwarm report page
- made it near impossible to let a build be marked as tested since we don't have all mobile browsers in the swarm
- MediaWiki's default frontend doesn't officially support mobile browsers [1], so this should not nag us during development for supposed breakages
- Our test suites are in QUnit, not in TestSwarm. The QUnit can be can at will in any browser, skin or language. Anyone interested can run it on a mobile browser, no problem.
