These property values all display as links to the FilesCategory, FileTemplate, and the FileForm:

[[CategoryProperty::Category:FilesCategory]]
[[TemplateProperty::Template:FileTemplate]]
[[FormProperty::Form:FileForm]]

This does not produce a link:

[[FileProperty::File:File.jpg]]

The expected behavior is a thumbnail image linked to the file page. This DOES work in the factbox, but not anywhere else.

I marked this bug "critical" because this is basic semantic wiki functionality that is not working.

The expected behavior is a link, not a thumbnail. You will not get a link when the target is the page on which you put it, which is how MediaWiki treats all internal links.

Confirmed. Link is displayed on pages other than the target, and a thumbnail is always displayed in the factbox.
