Article which belongs to some category when deleted remain in category listing and the redlink move to "page deleted" info. Shouldn't it be just removed from category as well? One can break relation between article and category before deletion to cease listing but does it make sense? 

How to reproduce: create and save an article with some category set, delete it, category keep listing removed article.

Cannot reproduce on trunk.

Maybe the category page needs purging? On WMF wikis there are some issue with purging of files and redirects and so on.

Yes, I can confirm that. Using action=purge when reloading category page resolve the problem.

Purging fixes this problem - resolved.
