Description fryed-peach 2011-08-09 15:40:35 UTC
Some skins such as Vector and Monobook have floatright and floatleft classes for floating div or table elements, but other skins such as Nostalgia don't. These classes are very convenient when making right- or left-aligned tables. Please implement them under all skins.
Comment 1 Roan Kattouw 2011-08-09 15:43:13 UTC
They should be moved to skins/common.css then.
Comment 2 Robin Pepermans (SPQRobin) 2011-08-09 18:04:08 UTC
Since 1.18 they are in common.css (r91340), although the margin is still set per-skin.
Note that these classes are actually intended for images.
Comment 3 Bartosz Dziewoński 2012-11-01 16:56:42 UTC
As Robin says, these are intended for images only, and may have some additional styles, making them unusable for tables or whatnot.

The floating code is now in {commonContent, shared, oldshared}.css and in all core skins that do not use common, so I'm closing this as resolved.
