Description Chris McKenna 2011-08-10 18:18:07 UTC
Sometimes (subjectively I'd say about 30% of the time) the ratings a user gives a page are not saved, despite the confirmation being that ratings have been saved. This is most easily seen when you rate a page that has not been previously rated, view the statistics and find them based on 0 ratings.

The only reliable indication that your input has been saved is the stars turning blue. This can happen before, at the same time or after the confirmation message is shown.

I have experienced this issue in Firefox 5.0 and Konqueror 4.6.2, both on Ubuntu Linux. I do not have access to any other computers/browsers to be able to test further.

This bug has not been touched in at least six months. With this in mind, I've been asked by the bugmeister to bump this bug's priority down from "High". Concerns can be addressed to mah@everybody.org.

Needs to be reconfirmed on the latest version. Lots of changes since.
Comment 3 Chris McKenna 2012-11-25 03:16:13 UTC
I don't recall seeing this happen for several months now, so as far as I'm concerned this can be marked as having been fixed by some other change somewhere along the line.
