When you do a search on the mobile site, although you stay on the mobile URL, you get the non mobile site search results

Clicking on any of the results will take you back to the mobile site (ie the target pages load as the mobile views)

Noting that we took a peek at this yesterday and tracked it down to the hook that was being used to initialize some of the MobileFrontend state being one that's not always called on special pages (OutputPageBeforeHTML gets called when adding parser output to the page, but some special pages never actually output anything this way).

We had some luck swapping that around to a more universal one, not sure if that's gotten committed yet.
