Description Brion Vibber 2011-08-16 21:13:51 UTC
Per discussion w/ CT, this would at least make it easier for staff to get at these hidden tickets.

I'd still prefer most of them be public, though.
Comment 1 Ryan Lane 2011-08-16 21:20:50 UTC
I'm opposed to this. I'd prefer this be linked with our svn LDAP. I also wouldn't mind bugzilla be linked.

I'd *really* prefer openid as a provider on WMF sites, and RT and bugzilla be consumers.

I think something like this would be incredibly helpful. If I had a buck for everytime someone asked me to fill out an RT Ticket.... well I'd be a lot richer :). I think LDAP could certainly be an option but if most of it isn't sensitive I'm with Brion better to have much of it public.

Daniel, do you have an idea how to implement this?
Comment 4 Ryan Lane 2012-08-23 18:39:08 UTC
I think I already gave a solution. OpenID as a provider on the sites, and bugzilla and RT as consumers.

I thought this was not going to happen within, say, the next five years?
Anyway, if you think it's the way please update the summary, thanks.
