for a video project (creating small videos from/for Wikipedia articles) I'd need a mailinglist to gather interested people.

First release will be on Saturday, Sept. 10th with a public presentation on Sunday, Sept. 11th. I'd like to subscribe the project team beforehand and advertise the list then during the presentation for anybody else who might be interested.

Usually Wikimedia mailing lists aren't created for unofficial projects or WikiProjects, and we suggest using Google Groups instead. Creating official mailing lists for small, unofficial projects causes a slippery slope where the number of mailing lists multiplies way too much.
