The logos of Wikimedia Commons and Meta in the search box look unproportional, see http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Main%20Page&useformat=mobile&mfi=1 and http://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Main%20Page&useformat=mobile&mfi=1

The logos themselves are fine. but the dimensions of the logo are forced to 35x22 when the logo themselves are 35x47 and 35x35.

I suspect someone (who?) needs to pay more attention to aspect ratio.

We need to create new versions of these two logos and resize them to 35x22.
