When a page blank vandal hits an article, the revert updates the category add date which can result in disordered listings. This may be related to bug #25012. Example of edit causing described behavior: http://theopenglobe.org/w/index.php?title=Zimbabwe%27s_Mugabe_ill_with_cancer%2C_leaked_cables_say&action=historysubmit&diff=963&oldid=958, affected listing http://theopenglobe.org/wiki/Template:Main_headlines
Not related to bug 25012 There's nothing we can reasonably do for this. DynamicPageList orders by the date a category was added to a page. Removing and then re-adding the category is going to reset the date the category was added to the page. However, doing something like suggested by bug 2284 could mitigate this problem (Of course OpenGlobe has SMW enabled, and one could use it's features to order by a property explicitly specified in the article, which wouldn't be affected by the page blanking) I'm going to close this as wontfix. Since there is no way for the extension to know if a category removal was a vandal or not, and in essence is working like it is documented that it does.

(In reply to comment #2) > Bawolff: Yes you can. Was the revision approved via Flagged Reviews? Well flagged revs doesn't apply to categorylinks table, which is more a flagged revs issues and really something out of the scope of DPL (That's bug 20813, it was briefly fixed then wontfixed) If you've got a way to make this all magically work with DynamicPageList that doesn't involve FlaggedRevs, patches welcome ;)
