Created attachment 9076 [details] Screenshot of oggHandler player overlapping I was testing stuff in test2, thought I found a regression in 1.18, but turns out it was broken in 1.17 too :( Things overlap badly when ogghandler is combined with (audio) ogg files. Example: http://test2.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Bawolff&oldid=34954 (see image as well. Note how it overlaps horizontally with the player bar, and vertically with the which player do you want to use dialog) Testing browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.16) Gecko/20110302 Iceweasel/3.5.16 (like Firefox/3.5.16)

tagged this upstream, but then saw this was FF3
(In reply to comment #1) > See also https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=462117 That seems to be more about video controls on small videos. Not about audio controls. However, it looks like firefox isn't respecting the width parameter on the <audio> tag correctly...
audio and video elements currently have a minimum width of about 350px ??? on almost all implementations.
*** Bug 38137 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
The OggHandler extension is not under active development anymore. It is unlikely that there will be any further active development. OggHandler has been superseded by TimedMediaHandler: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:TimedMediaHandler Please use TimedMediaHandler instead. Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping. Please feel free to reopen this bug report in the future if either anyone takes the responsibility for active development of OggHandler again; or move this bug report from the "OggHandler" to the "TimedMediaHandler" component in Bugzilla if the same problem still happens when using TimedMediaHandler. Thanks.
