The 'Has default form' and the 'Creates pages with form' special property work great, but I'd expect them to apply to subproperties of the property to which they are applied, assuming that the subproperties don't already have these setting).

I found that this not currently the case. Neither special property gets applied to a properties subproperties, so they have to be applied manually.
