Hi, in the effort of building a chapter people keep telling me no one can access this mailing list and no one is administering it now. The mailing list would help keep discussion on the fine points of the chapter formation centralized and semi-private. Could you look into the matter?

Are you asking for the creation of a list? If so, what do you want the list to be? Are you asking to take over a list? Which one?

I'm happy to provide control of this list to someone from the chapter formation group, or to any trusted member of the Turkish community, since there is no activity. Please also confirm that someone has attempted to contact the listed administrator.
According to the wikimedia-tr mailing list page at https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikimedia-tr, the list owner can be reached through: wikimedia-tr-owner@lists.wikimedia.org and vitomedia at gmail dot com. Looks like Vito Genovese should be able to administrate this mailing list. Since the user is registered in bugzilla, I am adding it to CC.
I do administrate the mailing list, and actually there is rarely (one mail per year or less) something to be done for it.
Vito Genovese has been inactive since May 2011 but it is good to see him back. Let's see if this issue is resolved so I'd like to leave the bug open for a while.
A couple of months have passed since this bug was submitted - can this bug be closed as resolved?
Assuming this is fixed since the problem is (apparently) a lack of mailing list traffic.
