Could you change the array $itemsToRemoves entry 'table.metadata' to 'metadata'? In de.wp we're using metadata also for single columns in tables, ie here. Metadata I think should not be represented in general in mobile view.... Greets --AleXXw 07:53, 1 August 2011 (UTC)

I can't see any reference to table.metadata or .metadata in itemsToRemove - should this be closed?

Was removed by Patrick in r94968. What was the reason?

This seems to have been addressed (see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:Code/MediaWiki/94968#c21101)
