in several questions asking about languages, simplified and traditional chinese are both in options. however there is only one unified chinese wikipedia.
Is there any specific reason that would be inappropriate? We'd presumably want to make sure that both simplified and traditional views work on mobile --- which currently they don't, indicating this is something that's needed and that people may be asking for. On an offhand look at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Wikipedia_Mobile_Readers_Survey_2011/Translation/en this seems reasonably appropriate.

I don't know what to choose among them... personally I disable the language converter when reading wikipedia because I can read both zh-hans and zh-hant but the converter sometimes outputs strange stuff. this also made it difficult for me to answer question S3.

Re-phrasing the summary to reflect the real issue. Since I cannot read zh-hans or zh-hant, what sort of "strange stuff" gets output by the converter?

Making a prefect converter is very difficult and those bugs have to be fixed on a case-by-case basis with the current overall solution. A page to collect user input is on Wikipedia: [[zh:Wikipedia:CONVERSION]] but that's not our topic here. Basically those bugs look like: A converter is converting en-gb to en-us and it knows taps are also called faucets in AmE. When it's converting "He tapped me" it outputs "He fauceted me".

Yes. I didn't know that page.
For reference, "2011 Wikipedia Mobile Readers Survey" is a completely useless bug summary. Please use language that describes the actual issue you'd like to see addressed.
