Description ansuman 2011-10-21 16:01:00 UTC
Set transliteration as default for all the Odia projects in Narayam. As of now http://or.wikipedia.org and http://or.wiktionary.org Thank You.

It is what the current state, isn't?

Or you mean Narayam to be ON by default?
Comment 2 ansuman 2011-10-21 18:15:15 UTC
Hello Junaid,
Narayam is ON by default. I meant when a new user sign in, the Odia transliteration should be default instead of InScript.
when I logged in after implementation of Narayam I found InScript as default.
Thank You.

Currently Transliteration is the default one and Narayam is OFF by default.

I confirmed it by opening Odia wikipedia in two different browsers those with empty cache and no cookies.

Okay, I was just discussing with Subhashish, he is telling if we can have Narayam ON by default. It would be good for new users. And enable Narayam for or.wiktionary also. I have reported a separate bug. Thank You Junaid. :)

Comment 7 ansuman 2011-10-22 04:12:45 UTC

Existing
$wgNarayamEnabledByDefault = false;
should be removed or set to true.

Assigning to Niklas since he can address this.
Comment 10 Alex Monk 2012-07-24 22:14:58 UTC
Niklas, can you address this?
Comment 11 ansuman 2012-07-25 17:49:58 UTC
Hello, I dont know whether it is default now.
I want to make it default so when there is a new or wiki project starts, it comes with Narayam enabled. So We dont have to report a bug to enable Narayam.

Right now its enabled for both above projects, no issues.
Thank you!
