Screenshot of issue.

In my browser the titles of pages about books are showing html markup (specifically <i> and </i> around the title). Examples:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rum_Diary_%28novel%29
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_and_the_chocolate_factory

See attached screenshot.

I'm using Firefox 7.0.1 on OS X.

Works for me, Firefox 7.0.1 on OS X 10.7.2. The above links show as expected with italic text, not showing a literal <i>...</i>.

Any Firefox extensions etc that might be altering output?

I'm using FF7.0.1 on Linux and don't see this. Since the italics come from [[Template:Infobox_book]] and it's page history shows it hasn't been changed recently, I'm not sure what would have caused this for you.

Could you [[WP:BYC]] and re-check to see if you still get markup instead of italics in book titles?

I also don't see this on Firefox 9 on Linux and Mac OS X 10.7.2. There has not been any further reply from the bug reporter, so I assume the issue has been with their browser and not mediawiki and therefore does not need fixing.
