Tested on Firefox 8 (current beta release in Android Market). Screenshot attached.

The search box itself seems to be a box within a box (looks wrong?)

Results are formatted kinda ugly, with a big "+" appearing on a second line at the right.

Update for this ticket as the beta has changed since yet there are still a few appearance problems with search.
In Firefox mobile clicking on search zooms in and has a shadow at the top which overlaps the search button.

The zooming is rather annoying and it seems to ignore the viewport. Seems like the jQuery mobile project has encountered the same bug - https://github.com/jquery/jquery-mobile/issues/3906

With disabling of zooming via the viewport as introduced in 05da3de9 this problem has resolved itself \o/
