Description Brion Vibber 2011-10-31 20:07:48 UTC
Browsing around on MobileFrontend view I've noticed that a lot of articles end up getting too wide for the browser, in at least some section.

Often this comes about due to a table, or multiple images being forced side-by-side (eg with a table ;), though I've also seen some wide-ish math equations and there may occasionally be wide single images.

If we could have some sort of nice friendly visual warning during editing that part of the page is unshrinkable, that might help editors to maintain their own articles better for narrow-screen access.

This may be easiest to implement as a JavaScript preview-time tool, seeking out tables and images that can't be shrunk/broken.

This is not an issue any more in that elements are forced to never go over 100% of the device width. We now have more specific problems to solve such as bug 36936

[Closing as "WONTFIX" to get rid of the deprecated "LATER" resolution]
