Description Dan Jacobson 2011-11-20 02:38:26 UTC
Let's say a user lands on http://wikitech.wikimedia.org/ .
There is no brief sentence there saying what the site is all about.
Kind of reminds one of an expired website that has been taken back by its ISP.
Please insure each *.wikimedia.org site mentions what it is about right there on its Main Page.

This is a issue that should be taken to each individual project.
Comment 2 Dan Jacobson 2011-11-20 04:47:27 UTC
Yes, somebody should do that, and only then close the bug.
Comment 3 Daniel Friesen 2011-11-20 12:41:13 UTC
Site request bugs are not for content changes, they are for things like site configuration changes and extension installation. This bug IS in fact INVALID.
