Mock-up

Arun did a mock-up at the India Hackathon, attached. This unifies a number of issues regarding language use, and could be supported with geo-location functions.

Wondering if this request is still valid.
Moving to ULS component.

It's a little pony, really.

Part of this is in ULS. The only thing that isn't is the On-screen keyboard ( aka OSK). It should probably be closed, as the ULS is different from the design here, and the OSK will probably work differently.
Comment 3 Santhosh Thottingal 2012-10-24 04:43:33 UTC
The new design for Onscreen keyboard is given at https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Universal_Language_Selector. And as part of Project Milkshake, OSK is going to be part of jquery.ime. See https://github.com/wikimedia/jquery.ime/issues/23

So I am closing this.
