(I apologize if this report seems a bit like I was angry (because I was, but not at this), like it was typed up in a hurry, or something else) Apparently, language links do not work correctly when used in the signature for a user in Special:Preferences. What I mean is, assuming its without the beginning ":", they will both not make the language links section appear, nor will the language links themselves appear. Lets say I add [[en:User:LikeLakers2]] (no beginning colon) to my MW.org signature. It will not make the language links, or the section for them appear. Not a major bug, but still something worthy to be reported.
A screenshot would help.

It mustn't work as you say. If you want interwikis on your user page, add them to your user page. If you want them to appear on every page where you sign, well this is a very bad idea.
