Doxygen documentation for MediaWiki is generated on formey using Doxygen 1.6.3 : https://svn.wikimedia.org/doc/ That version is a bit old and generates slow HTML. Doxygen 1.7.x is lighter and cleaner to the eye. It is not available in Ubuntu lucid (10.4) though. We could either: 1) upgrade Ubuntu on Formey 2) backport Doxygen 1.7.x in Lucid (10.4) Willing to hear from the ops about this :-)
<Reedy> 1.7.4 in oneric <Reedy> Needs libc6 >= 2.4, 10.04 has 2.11 <Reedy> libstdc++6 is ok <Reedy> having said that.... it needsd >= 2.4 on lucid http://packages.ubuntu.com/oneiric/doxygen http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/doxygen Might just be able to repackage it for lucid then
Opened RT ticket http://rt.wikimedia.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=2262 for the ops team.
Now, it seems it is easier to just update the 'formey' server from Lucid to Precise.
We could migrate the job documentation to gallium once it has been upgraded to Precise (bug 41053)
The 'formey' server has been upgraded to Precise on Oct 25th 2012. It now includes doxygen 1.7.x which has been used over night to generate a nicer documentation: http://svn.wikimedia.org/doc/
