Description George Watson 2011-11-28 18:20:11 UTC
The SemanticForms "category" and "categories" input types are very nice, and useful, but it can be difficult to navigate when the list is quite long.

Would it be possible to allow subcategories to be collapsed by default, with an arrow or something for the user to click to expand them? This behaviour exists in CategoryTree, but I can't seem to find a way to turn it on in SemanticForms.

This is finally enabled in SF, with the new 'depth' parameter for the 'category' and 'categories' input types. You can set "depth=2", for instance, to have only two levels of categories shown when the input first appears. This is already in SVN, and will be included in the next official version as well.
