Description Phil Chang 2011-11-28 23:50:55 UTC
The dreaded J2ME - in many parts of the world, this still goes a long way and is generally more desirable than SMS/WAP delivery. Features include keeping a local history list.
Comment 1 Derk-Jan Hartman 2011-11-29 17:20:58 UTC
As someone working in Mobile, I can tell you, if at all possible, avoid J2ME. It is impossible to support, the differences per platform are way too large.
Comment 2 Phil Chang 2011-12-01 01:26:41 UTC
Derek, thanks for your concern. Yes, you are right. We are considering several different approaches to this where the main development would not be done internally.
Comment 3 Tomasz Finc 2012-08-03 18:40:51 UTC
Resolving this bug as its far too broad to be useful. Please check http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MobileFrontend/J2ME_app for updates.
