Screenshot on iPod Touch showing empty results

Tested on:
* Opera Mini 6.5.1.23995 iOS 5.0.1, iPod Touch (Retina display)
* Opera Mini 6.5.27452 Android 2.3.6, Nexus One

Steps to repro:
* load Opera Mini
* opt in to beta at http://bit.ly/wmoptin
* tap into search bar
* type "monarch"
* hit "Done" to submit

Actual results:

Screen turns gray with white at the top; shows "monarch" in the search area, has some lines. May or may not have the triangle. No search results visible.

Expected results:

Either a server-side search giving us back a page of results, or a client-side search showing us a page of results.

I believe this is because Opera mini doesn't support onkeyup events (on certain/all devices) [1] which is what triggers the search. I'm yet to find a pleasant solution however we could enable search on a blur event as fallback. Have left a TODO note in r112537

Search in beta now works due to use of setTimeout https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#change,3522
